Thank You!

Contributions from thousands of listeners combined to help us toward this year's fundraising goal.

WFIU's George Walker announces during a fund drive.

WFIU completed its 2014 on-air membership campaign on Sunday, October 26. Our goal in this eleven-day fundraiser was to generate $365,000. At the time we signed off, pledges from thousands of listeners across southern and central Indiana had combined to bring us to about $290,000, or to within about 80 percent of the final objective.

The money raised helps pay for programming costs at the station, with membership support being the station’s single most reliable source of income.

If you made a financial gift to WFIU, then you helped secure in-depth news and cultural programming for another year. If you missed your chance to make a new or renewing contribution, then you can still do any time. WFIU extends sincere gratitude to our corporate challengers, food donors, volunteers, and the thousands of listeners who support the station this and every year. We couldn’t have done it without you.

Indiana Public Media is a producer and distributor of public media from WFIU Public Radio and WTIU Public Television at Indiana University including your favorite programming from NPR and PBS.
