How It Works
When you make an endowed gift, only a small portion of your gift will be spent, allowing the remaining amount to continue growing. That portion of your gift will supplement our programs forever.
You can give cash, securities or other assets to an endowment you create. Or, you can contribute to our organization’s already established endowment. Endowment funds for WTIU are managed by professional investors at the Indiana University Foundation.
Gifts to the WTIU Operations Fund. Interest from these gifts goes to support the daily operations of WTIU. You can make a direct cash gift now with the button, or direct a future bequest towards unrestricted station support.
- Open and name your own Endowed Fund at WTIU. For a gift of $10,000 (or a pledge that can be spread over several years), you can create and name your own family legacy to support a specific program or program area.
- If you have strong program funding preferences, you may designate your gift to one of the WTIU Endowment Program Funds awaiting funding!
- News and Public Affairs Program Fund
- Arts, Performance, and Culture Program Fund
- Science, Environment, and Nature Program Fund
- Children’s Program Fund
- Endow a Day of Broadcasting on WFIU or WTIU with a gift to celebrate or memorialize a special occasion or remembrance on the airwaves every year in perpetuity.
WTIU shares the Al Cobine Recognition Endowment Fund with WFIU to support jazz initiatives at both stations. For more information or to contribute to the fund>>>
