WFIU Support Radio That Matters WFIU Support

What is the MemberCard?

The MemberCard is a unique benefit of membership in a public broadcasting station. Members who support public radio/TV at or above a designated level can opt to receive the card, which offers dining, entertaining, and lodging discounts (generally at a 2-for-1 rate). Each discount may be redeemed only once per card during a membership year. Learn more about the MemberCard.

Why should my business or organization join the MemberCard program?

When you become a benefit provider through the MemberCard program, you join a network of more than 11,000 restaurants, arts and cultural organizations, golf courses, bed and breakfast inns, and wineries that benefit from increased visibility among public broadcasting audiences. Viewers/listeners learn about participating businesses in multiple ways, including the MemberCard benefit directory, monthly program guides, e-mail communications, and www.membercard.com – just to name a few. Learn more about how public broadcasting stations, members, and businesses all benefit from this program.

Best of all, there is no cost to you! Once you’ve joined the MemberCard program, you simply welcome new and returning patrons as they present their MemberCard for a once-annual savings.

How do I join?

  • Visit www.membercard.com or call Member Benefits, Inc. at 800-423-7645 to join.
  • Inform your staff about the MemberCard offer so they can be ready to honor it.
