How Many A's Does Each IU Department Give Out?

Background

Our post on the departments who give the most A’s at IU and Purdue boiled down a lot of grade data from IU and Purdue, so to give you an expanded look at the data, we’re posting it in Google spreadsheets. If you follow the link, you can sort the department-level grade data by each of the five letter grades.

Also, for the record, in 1995, 31.3 percent of the grades IU departments gave out were A’s. The current average is 42.8 percent.
