This table shows what percentage of students in each Indiana school passed the IREAD-3 exam in 2013. This was the second year the state required every third grader to take the 40-question, 72-minute test of their reading skills. Students who do not pass in March will have to retake the test this summer. Statewide, 86 percent of third graders passed the exam, a small improvement over 2012.
We’ve included 2013 IREAD-3 pass rates for nonpublic schools, but results weren’t unavailable for the 2012 test. You can also see overall pass rates for each school corporation.
