Another Researcher Ties Early Instruction In Handwriting To Better Grades

    We wrote in September about Indiana University research that suggested schools should keep teaching handwriting, even if typing was more useful. As our friends at StateImpact Florida write, research from the Sunshine State backs up that finding:

    Want your child to do better in math or be a stronger reader? Have them write out your weekly shopping list. That’s according to research by Florida International University professor Laura Dinehart. Dinehart studied more than 3,000 four-year-olds in Miami-Dade County.
