Thank you for this. I live in Rokita's district and wrote him. He answered with the usual "they only watch Faux News" reply about an "adult conversation about the debt." Okay, let's have one. Let's cut ALL Federal monies to the Koch Brothers. Let's rescind the Bush tax cuts. Let's cut all the military adventurism around the world. Let's rescind all the tax cuts to corporations that move the jobs out of the US. No more agricultural subsidies! I say, you believe in the "free market?" Put your money where your mouth is - that means YOUR pet industries/tax shelters as well! Adult conversation my eye - one cannot have one as long as all interests on the Right get funded and nothing for the public good is funded.

Please call and write your representatives to let them know that in these times of misinformation we need our information to come from trusted and scrutinzed sources such as public broadcasting. Sources that truly has no profit motive when it comes to reporting the news. Public Broadcasting Stations are a national treasure. I don't know any industry that could withstand this sort of gutting of their funding. We owe it to the next generation not to allow this sort of plundering of our natioal treasures.

Respectfully,

Donald T. Heintzman
