After twenty-five years with NBC-TV Sports, where he began in 1975 as the play-by-play man on college basketball, Emmy winning sports commentator Dick Enberg joined CBS Sports in January 2000. At CBS he serves as a play-by-play announcer for The NFL on CBS, college basketball, and the U.S. Open Tennis Championships. There is no doubt that Dick Enberg is “the voice” of sportscasting.
