Richard France, Author and Orson Welles Expert

He prefers to be heard rather than seen. That is the underlying motto behind Richard France's success. His literary works span adaptations, children's literature, haiku, plays, and poetic drama. He has appeared in George Romero horror films, and he's narrated documentaries such as Nova and American Experience.

But aside from all this, he is a leading authority on the career of Orson Welles, and his landmark study "The Theatre of Orson Welles" is a must read for Orson Welles fans.

Host Bob Willard speaks with Richard France in this hour-long interview.
