I do love being empowered to ask questions. And just being allowed to be there—wherever there is. It’s like a special all-access pass to parts of American life that a lot of people don’t get access to.

Tamara Keith has reported on business topics ranging from the debt downgrade and debt ceiling crisis to the latest in policy debates, legal issues, and technology trends.

In 2010, she covered the aftermath of the Haiti’s disastrous earthquake, and later she covered the oil spill in the Gulf.

Keith conceived and reported for The Road Back to Work, a year-long NPR series that focused on unemployed people in St. Louis.
