I was a classmate of Mary Ann’s at Central Missouri State when her dad, the wonderful Ralph Hart, chaired the department there. In addition to her superb artistry, which is self evident, she is a truly lovely person who was always a real delight to know and be around. It’s always easy to say in retrospect that it was easy to predict someone’s future success, but in Mary Ann’s case it was pretty much a sure bet.
