Mark Crispin Miller is professor of Media Ecology at New York University known for writing on American media and for his activism on behalf of democratic media reform.

His articles appear in The Nation magazine and his books include Boxed In: The Culture of TV; Mad Scientists: The Secret History of Modern Propaganda and Cruel and Unusual: Bush/Cheney’s New World Order. In his book Fooled Again, How the Right Stole the 2004 Elections, he wrote that the outcomes of the 2000 and 2004 U.S. Presidential elections were altered and controlled by a small minority.
