The nice thing about NPR is that there’s room for the hardcore, straight-ahead journalists, and there is room for people more like me, who like to do something—when we can—a bit more stylized.

Peter Breslow is the supervising senior producer for NPR’s Weekend Edition Saturday and a former producer for All Things Considered.

He has reported and produced from around the country and the world including war-torn countries such as Iraq, Afghanistan, Kosovo, Somalia, Bosnia, Panama, and Nicaragua.

Breslow won a Peabody Award for his series of reports Cowboys on Everest for which he joined members of an expedition that scaled 23,000 feet up Mount Everest, enduring an earthquake, landslides, and a bridge collapse.
