Gene Tempel is president of the Indiana University Foundation.  A nationally recognized expert in the study and practice of philanthropy and nonprofit management, Dr. Tempel has been named by The NonProfit Times to its list of the country’s fifty most influential leaders in the nonprofit sector each year since the list was created.

Before assuming the IU Foundation presidency, Tempel was executive director of the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University from 1997.  His career includes more than twenty years in higher education administration, fundraising, and teaching, and he holds faculty appointments in higher education and philanthropic studies in the IU Schools of Education, Liberal Arts, and Public and Environmental Affairs.

Christina Kuzmych

Christina Kuzmych, Originally from Perth, Australia, Christina Kuzmych moved to Bloomington in 1971. Christina has worked previously in public broadcasting as Program Director, Music Director, and Music Librarian. In 1984, she started at WFIU, where she is currently the Station Manager. Christina’s interests include four-wheeling in Colorado, reading, and arts and crafts.
