The single fastest-growing budget item for everybody, including universities, is our health care costs and our premium. This cannot go on forever, it’s going to bankrupt the nation.

Dean Torabi’s research focuses on measurement and evaluation of school and public health education programs, and factors associated with health behavior.

He served as a research consultant for various state and national organizations including governmental and nongovernmental agencies, and he has presented his research at major national and international conferences.

Torabi serves as editor of the Health Education Monograph series, assistant research editor of the Journal of School Health, and research editor for the American Journal of Health Behavior.
