Poet, musician, and sound effects artist, Tony Brewer is the co-founder of MATRIX, a forum for literary and visual artists based in the Bloomington, Indiana.

He has work in the forthcoming anthology And Know This Place: Poetry of Indiana (Indiana Historical Society Press), due out in April 2009.  He will embark on a spoken word tour of Indiana in April, as well, with three other Hoosier poets.  Tony reads his poems “Trees are Poems to a Typewriter in the Woods” and “Technology Abides” on this edition of The Poets Weave.

Jenny Kander

Jenny Kander, Originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, Jenny Kander moved to Bloomington in 1992. She received a Masters degree from the University of South Africa, and practiced as a grief counselor for 25 years before retiring in 1994 to focus on writing poetry. In 1999, Jenny began presenting The Poets Weave for WFIU. In her free time, Jenny enjoys writing, gardening, and knitting.
