An Atlas V evolved expendable launch vehicle carries NASA's Mars Science Laboratory from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station on Nov. 26, 2011. The lab's Rover Curiosity was scheduled to land on Mars in August 2012.

Tony Brewer is a poet, sound effects artist, and roller derby announcer. He has two books of poems, The Great American Scapegoat and Little Glove in a Big Hand, and he is the executive director of the Spoken Word Stage at the 4th Street Festival of the Arts in Bloomington, Indiana.
