The Poets Weave is a weekly five-minute program of poetry reading hosted by local poets Jenny Kander and Christopher Citro. The Poets Weave airs Sundays at 11:46 a.m. on WFIU HD1.
Christopher Citro, an MFA student in the Indiana University Creative Writing Program, has poetry forthcoming in the Courtland Review and has been published recently in Harpur Palate, The Cincinnati Review, Poet Lore, and a number of other magazines. His poems have been featured on Verse Daily and nominated for a Pushcart Prize.
Dustin Nightingale’s poetry has appeared in various journals including Margie, Portland Review, barnwood press and Cimarron Review. His book manuscript has been a finalist for various contests, including The National Poetry Series.
Host Jenny Kander welcomes poet Christopher Citro, who reads a selection of his work. Citro is currently a graduate student in the Indiana University Creative Writing Program and is the 2006 winner of the Langston Hughes Creative Writing Award for Poetry.
