Poets Weave
The author of numerous novels and books of poetry, David Wagoner is a former chancellor of the Academy of American Poetry.
Retired English and photography teacher Roger Pfingston is the author of several collections of poetry including The Circus of Unreasonable Acts, Windy Tuesday Nights, and Something Iridescent. In this broadcast, he joins Jenny Kander to read a selection of his work.
Jane Hilberry teaches literature and creative writing at Colorado College and has received numerous awards for her writing. In addition, she has written several books of poetry including her most recent, Body Painting. In this broadcast, Jenny Kander reads from Jane’s poetry.
The work of great American poet Edgar A. Guest is featured in this broadcast. Known as the People’s Poet, Edgar published numerous collections of poetry such as Collected Verse, Just Folks, and A Heap O’ Livin to name a few.
