Poet Aimee Nezhukumatathil

Aimee Nezhukumatathil is the author of three poetry collections, most recently Lucky Fish, winner of the Hofer Grand Prize. She is associate professor of English at SUNY-Fredonia and lives in western New York with her husband and young sons.

Today, we’ll sample from a recent reading she gave in the Grand Hall of the Neal Marshall Black Culture Center sponsored by the MFA Program in Creative Writing at Indiana University, Bloomington.  The poems include “What Are You, Where Are You From?,” “Mosquitos,” and “Homage to Grief.”
