The Poets Weave is a weekly five-minute program of poetry reading, hosted by Christopher Citro airing Sundays at approximately 11:46 a.m. on WFIU HD1.

About the Host

Christopher Citro, born and raised in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, came to Bloomington by way of Lawrence, Kansas. A candidate in the MFA and the English MA programs at Indiana University, he is Associate Editor for Lyric Poetry Review and an Associate Poetry Editor for Indiana Review.

He won the 2006 Langston Hughes Creative Writing Award for Poetry, and has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize.

His poetry has also been published in Harpur Palate, The Cincinnati Review, Poet Lore, Permafrost, Burnside Review, Ghoti Magazine, Redactions, Stone Table Review, and Juked. His criticism has been published in The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and Indiana Review. Orbiting the Sundress, his first poetry chapbook, was published by Unholy Day Press in 2004.
