The session was a unique one for many reasons this year.

The Indiana legislative session is scheduled to wrap up this week. It’s been an interesting session, with a long Democratic walkout, some far reaching bills introduced, and a multi-billion dollar budget debated.

This week on Noon Edition, we’ll sit down with political experts and state house reporters to discuss how the bills passed this session will affect Hoosiers.

You can call into the program as it airs at 855-0811, or join a live chat right here.

Noon Edition airs Friday at 12:06.

I was sad to see Noon Edition adopt the national format for political shows of having one person from each side on to argue and spin. It reminded me of the Monty Python argument sketch. “I am here for an argument”, “No you’re not”, “Yes I am” ….. Perhaps instead of the political hacks we could have knowledgeable and less partisan guests in the future. Perhaps political scientists. I normally enjoy the show but this time not so much.
