Indiana’s Flu Season

flu shot

Indiana is experiencing one of the toughest flu seasons in recent years. Twenty-seven people have died from the flu in Indiana, and hospitals are seeing more people with flu symptoms in their emergency rooms.

This week on Noon Edition, we'll talk with health professionals about what has been causing the rise and what they're doing to stop it from spreading.

Join us Friday at 12 p.m. for our conversation, and send us your questions in advance to noon@indiana.edu. You can visit this site to be part of our live chat, follow us on Twitter @NoonEdition, or join us on the air by calling in at 812-855-0811 or 1-877-285-WFIU.
