President Obama unveiled new overtime rules last month. The rules will change the minimum salary for an exempt worker to $47,460. This means employees receiving less than that amount of money annually will be hourly workers and be eligible for overtime.
The new rules go into effect December 1, and business are facing difficult decisions leading up to the deadline.
This week hosts Sara Wittmeyer and Joe Hren discussed how new overtime regulations will impact workers and businesses.
