Hunger and homelessness are up nationwide.

1 in 4 Americans are now on government supported food programs, and food banks and homeless shelters across the country are serving more people than ever before.

This week on Noon Edition, we’ll discuss how these issues are affecting residents of south-central Indiana, and what can be done to bring people out of poverty.
