Indiana's CHOICE program provides in-home care for senior citizens.

This fiscal year, like many government programs, Indiana’s agencies on aging are dealing with budget cuts. Some say cuts to the Indiana CHOICE Home Health Care Program in particular are putting senior citizens at risk.

This week on Noon Edition, we sat down with the chair of the Indiana Home Care Task Force, John Cardwell, Nick Petrone, Deputy Director of the Division of Aging at the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration, and Kerry Conway, Executive Director of the Area 10 Agency on Aging. We saw how the CHOICE program is faring now in this new fiscal year, and discussed the state of Indiana health care for senior citizens.
