Talk of the debt ceiling debate has all but overwhelmed the news over the past few weeks. But by August 2nd, the issue must be resolved—at least temporarily. If Congress fails to raise the debt ceiling, America’s financial standing could be seriously damaged. This week on Noon Edition, we spoke with IU economists and a political scientist at Ball State University’s Bowen Center for Public Affairs to sort out the implications of this historical decision on Indiana and the nation.
