This week on Noon Edition, we’ll talk with skaters from the Bleeding Heartland Roller Girls, Monroe County’s local women’s flat track roller derby team. When you think of roller derby, you might think of dangerous, fast-paced entertainment on wheels, but for the Bleeding Heartland Roller Girls, their sport is about teamwork and athleticism.

The Roller Girls are going into their sixth season, and we’ll talk with them about what’s in store for them and for the growing and changing sport of women’s flat track derby.

Join us Friday at 12 p.m. with your questions for the Bleeding Heartland Rollergirls. You can visit this site to be part of our live chat, follow us on Twitter @NoonEdition, or join us on the air by calling in at 812-855-0811 or 1-877-285-WFIU.
