Addiction And Self-Sabotage: New Findings In Brain Research

asdasd

A new study on self-handicapping from researchers at Indiana University shows people are more likely to sabotage their efforts during the time of day they feel more energized. So morning people, the research shows, often self-handicap themselves in the morning.

Another study, from the IU School of Medicine, looks into the neurological source of addiction cravings like those experienced by people suffering from alcoholism.

This week on Noon Edition we spoke to local experts about these studies and the current state of brain research in Indiana and around the country.

Noon Edition airs every Friday at 12 p.m.
