In the meantime, the Village Voice has a review up, based on an advance copy (reportedly slightly different than what’s going to come out now). Paul Tingen is offering copies of his now-out-of-print book Miles Beyond: Electric Explorations 1967-1991 on the Miles Beyond website. You can browse the Night Lights archives and listen to Electrifying: Miles Davis at the Cellar Door or Miles Davis: the Jack Johnson sessions. And then there’s always YouTube:

Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, David Brent Johnson moved to Bloomington in 1991. He is an alumnus of Indiana University, and began working with WFIU in 2002. Currently, David serves as jazz producer and systems coordinator at the station. His interests include literature, history, music, writing, and movies.
