Motorists are being advised to allow for extra travel time tonight and tomorrow morning.

Updated information from forecasters at the National Weather Service indicate rainfall today will turn to snow by late afternoon.
Total snow accumulations up to 8 inches are possible over east central Indiana by late tonight. Six inches of snow are possible for areas near Lafayette, Noblesville and Rushville. Three to 5 inches of snowfall is expected near Bloomington, Seymour, Terre Haute and Columbus.
A winter storm warning is in effect northeast of Indianapolis this afternoon and tonight. A winter weather advisory is in effect most other areas after 4 p.m., with the exception of the far southwest.
