Visitors are invited to attend a public viewing for Bill Cook this Saturday at the Cook headquarters.
A public viewing for Indiana billionaire Bill Cook will take place this weekend at the Cook Group Headquarters, 750 Daniels Way in Bloomington. Cook died Friday after a battle with congestive heart failure. He is remembered in Bloomington as both a businessman and a philanthropist. The viewing will take place April 23rd from 10 to 6. Cook officials, concerned about overcrowding, are encouraging people not to plan on coming early.
Cook officials have not confirmed the presence of Cook’s wife Gayle or son Carl at the viewing. Visitors can expect to file past the closed casket and leave their written regards in a condolence box. After the viewing, Cook executives will receive guests in the atrium of the Cook building.
There will be extra police along Third Street to help direct traffic. Cook officials say parking is available for about 4,000 people at a time.
