Construction crews slid a 100-foot concrete section of the Milton-Madison Bridge into place today.

The bridge spans between Milton, Ky. and Madison, Ind.

Here’s time-lapsed video of crews moving the section from a temporary steel structure onto the permanent concrete base:

The larger main section of the bridge, which measures a half-mile long is expected to be put into place using similar methods later this month.
