Alan Veach says not much has been established about Bloomington’s New Technology High School except his position as principal. Veach was named principal of New Tech at the Monroe County Community School Corporation’s school board meeting Tuesday evening. Since New Tech isn’t slated to open until August 2008, Veach says he’ll spend next year hiring teachers and laying the foundation for New Tech.
Veach’s appointment starts July 1. He is currently an assistant principal at Bloomington High School South, and will continue that appointment part-time while preparing for the opening of the New Tech school.
