USDA Approves Alzheimer’s Drug

Monroe County could benefit from discount prescription medicine cards.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved a drug developed by Eli Lilly that is designed to help diagnose Alzheimer‘s Disease. The Indianapolis-based drugmaker says Amyvid does not confirm or rule out the disease, but can make diagnosis quicker.
