UPDATE: Thunderstorms Sweeping Through Indiana

A severe thunderstorm watch continues until 7:00 a.m.

Severe storms are approaching central Indiana heading south east.

12:30 A.M. UPDATE

Early storm reports indicate 64 MPH wind gusts and one inch hail in northern Indiana tonight. Forecasters at the National Weather Service issued a thunderstorm watch for south central Indiana until 7:00 a.m. as those storms sweep south east.

Tree damage was reported in Delphi on Tecumseh Bend Road due to thunderstorm winds. We’ll continue to monitor the situation and report updates as needed here and on WTIU at the bottom of the screen.
