Two Tornados Touched Down Wednesday Morning During Storms

The first touched down near Elizabeth in Harrison County, and the second twister landed near West Baden Springs in Orange County.

The National Weather Service reported winds at speeds of more than 80 mph.

The National Weather Service has confirmed two tornadoes touched down in southern Indiana early Wednesday morning.

The first touched down at 4:17 a.m. near Elizabeth in Harrison County. Eighty mile per hour winds damaged three to four homes and two barns along Highway 111.

The second twister hit at 4:27 a.m. near West Baden Springs in Orange County. Eighty-five  to 95 mph winds damaged at least one home.

No injuries were reported.
