The snow that began last night is continuing today across central parts of Indiana.

Indianapolis National Weather Service meteorologist Jason Puma says today’s snowfall should end by 9 p.m. before more snow begins Sunday.

“The main threat is the system we are dealing with right now, and on Sunday we could see another weaker system move through, but at this point it doesn’t look that significant,” he says.

Puma says cold temperatures below freezing will last the weekend and persist well into next week.
