A set of dog tags were discovered on the beaches of Normandy 70 years later.
A Hoosier native who served in WWII and the plane he flew, came to Columbus Friday to teach people about the war efforts.
Several veterans took an opportunity Monday to fly in the restored plane, which was featured in the 1989 movie, "Memphis Belle".
The museum is being renamed "The Ernie Pyle World War II Museum." Officials hope the new name will help them attract military enthusiasts unfamiliar with Pyle.
