The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for Carroll, Warren, Tippecanoe and Howard counties for heavy snow.
Freezing rain...sleet...and snow will begin across the area by this afternoon.
The winter weather advisory has been extended and is now in effect until 9 Wednesday morning.
UPDATED 8:16 AM Thursday, December 16. A winter storm warning is in effect until 1 PM.
Heavy snow that pounded much of Central Indiana has left roadways slick and resulted in a number of accidents.
