The Vigo County Election Board will consider making changes to its current voting centers during a meeting Thursday.
Voting centers allow residents to vote anywhere in the county as opposed to the precinct they live in.
Monroe County is making plans that would allow county residents to vote at any location within the county during the 2012 elections.
The option would reduce the total number of precincts open on Election Day.
The Monroe County League of Women voters is pushing for changes in polling practices following this year’s election.
