The Columbus Redevelopment Commission has awarded a $12.4 million bid on the new downtown Commons to a Columbus-based company.
The City of Columbus is already advertising for bids to build the Commons, even though the results of a remonstrance to block its construction are not known.
A company is considering the Commons Mall in Columbus for its office space, and could provide new jobs and new business to the area.
