The state’s attorney general says he is prepared to defend a new law aimed at stopping the sale of synthetic drugs if it is challenged in court.
The legislature passed the ban last year, but police say they have had a hard time enforcing it.
Lawmakers approved a measure this session that makes it more difficult for convenience stores to sell synthetic drugs.
