The school board voted last night to appoint Doctor Judith DeMuth, of LaPorte, Indiana, as the district’s new permanent superintendent.
The search for a new superintendent could result in a lawsuit against the Monroe County Community School Corp.
Monroe County Community School Corporation officials are preparing plans to form a committee to help generate candidates to replace the outgoing superintendent.
MCCSC officials are holding a public work session in response to a number of complaints over closed meetings about the search for a superintendent.
