A winter weather advisory means that periods of snow and sleet will cause travel difficulties and limited visibilities.
A winter storm advisory is in effect from 7 a.m. Tuesday until 7 a.m. Wednesday.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for Carroll, Warren, Tippecanoe and Howard counties for heavy snow.
Much of Indiana remains under a travel advisory today because of either snow, ice, or downed trees.
UPDATED 8:16 AM Thursday, December 16. A winter storm warning is in effect until 1 PM.
