The sister of one of the Newtown victims is calling on Congress to support gun control as part of a nationwide bus tour that passed through Indiana Thursday.
MCCSC officials said they wanted parents’ input on the district’s security measures because of the Newtown shooting last December.
The service included the signing of a petition urging Indiana lawmakers to enact stricter gun laws.
Some Indiana school officials trained in disaster response say it may be impossible to prevent events like the ones in Newtown, Connecticut.
The 15 year old is not in pain, but his wounds have yet to heal, and a long recovery awaits.
