Magnus Johnson created Elder Heart, a non-profit that will pay veterans to create public art.
The meetings are scheduled for Monday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in city hall.
Renwick property owners say the mural is just the beginning of many other art opportunities they plan to host.
Groups that sponsored a brain will receive their prototype in November and then turn it over to an artist who will design it.
