Monroe County Community School Corporation officials are preparing plans to form a committee to help generate candidates to replace the outgoing superintendent.
Monroe County Community School Corporation School Board officials say they have not taken any action towards replacing retiring Superintendent J.T. Coopman.
About 60-percent of Monroe County voters came out in support of the measure which allows the MCCSC School Board to increase property taxes to cover budget cuts.
