Governor Mitch Daniels has signed a bill that allows Indiana residents to resist unlawful police entry.
Indiana legislators are trying to work out the details of a police entry bill before the end of the legislative session.
Mitch Daniels wants the legislature to focus on the police entry bills and working out a solution on the automatic taxpayer refund in its last days in session.
The smoking ban received the most attention in the Indiana legislature this week. The General Assembly also passed bills on stage regulations and police entry.
The Senate has approved a bill listing out the situations in which a resident can resist police entry.
