The largest group of state workers – around 75 percent – get a three percent raise.
Roughly 90 percent of state employees will be getting a pay increase in 2012.
The vote by the city council will apply to all elected officials.
The firefighters union in Kokomo is filing a grievance against the city, stating that they were not given a 1.5% pay raise which they say was promised to them.
